...to the Python "Boot camp" Wiki! The purpose of this Wiki is to catalogue all of the interesting and useful links/resources that you come across over the course of the week. Hopefully, you all have had enough experience using Wikipedia to have a sense of how a Wiki works and what it is supposed to achieve, so I won't bother with any of those formalities.
I have started the Wiki by creating a page describing how to download the software that we will use for the course, as well as a page for each day of the course and each chapter/topic.
- Getting started with Python
- Day 1: The basics of Python/IPython.
- Day 2: Conditionals, functions, recursion...and NumPy.
- Day 3: Strings, lists, and a bit of plotting.
- Day 4: More data types, and high-level scientific programming with SciPy.
- Day 5: OOP, ABM, and Evolutionary Game Theory.
Your job is to store links, pics, even tutorial videos that you find interesting/useful.
