Is the php alpine image's size correct?

Know the reason now.

In current Dockerfile , install the tools, such as gcc in different layers, and can't delete them to reduce the image size.

This likes joke for me now, when the official php alpine (Alpine Linux is much smaller than most distribution base images (~5MB)) is only 100MB less than Debian's.

Yeah, we kept them around so that docker-php-ext-install would work. Now there is a PR to remove them: #206.
