linklocal ips not working

docker-py version dependency here doesn't work. We proceeded using the latest from https://github.com/docker/docker-py/

You'll want the version of docker-py specified in requirements.txt:

Yes - the reason why is complicated, but it's necessary.

Sorry about the delay. There was a bug in docker-py which has been fixed in docker/docker-py#1139. Try updating docker-py as follows:

$ pip uninstall docker-py
$ pip install git+https://github.com/docker/docker-py.git@cea73760863182035ddbf1c336b388df283c7431#egg=docker-py
