containerd latest 1.6 packages (1.6.34+)

Hello,

I see that the last conteinerd.io package in 1.6 series is 1.6.33 (released in June 2024). Have you stopped supporting 1.6.x versions?
Since then, containerd versions 1.6.34, 1.6.35, and 1.6.36 have been released.

Just want to get a clarity and path forward. Maybe it is blocked by some issue, like #386 ?

@thaJeztah can we get packages cut for v1.6? It's still marked as the LTS and the latest version in the repos is v1.6.33; if v1.6 is not the LTS anymore, can it get clarified in the containerd release documentation?

The main purpose of the containerd packages located at download.docker.com is to be used as a dependency of the docker-ce (dockerd) packages, for which we always provide a currently supported version of containerd. Our packages now moved to containerd v2.x, and we no longer build packages for containerd v1.x. The packaging scripts we use to build those packages can be found at https://github.com/docker/packaging, which allows others to build their own deb/rpm packages if they have a need for different versions.
