It seems like it was faithfully published from the available notes and remarks. I'll ping Artak to take a look at this, and he may know the answer, get one of the PU engineers to look here, or move this over to the PU repo for further investigation.

It does work, but it seems to be an issue with the compiler, so the warnings RZ1017 is a false issue and the resulting CS0246 from it are also false. It seems to be an issue starting when I upgraded to VS 17.6+. However, the app compiles and runs normally. Supposedly for some users adding a global.json to the solution targeting SDK 7.0.202 fixed it for some, but that's not the case for me.

I cannot get the code to compile. RZ71017 is an error not a warning. Yeah, if it's in 17.6.5 I'd imagine it's in 17.7. Have you tried 17.5?

@ttosello ... Let's go ahead and have you open this for the product unit to look at on their repo. They're super busy with .NET 8, so I'm not sure how fast they'll be able to investigate. However, this repo isn't really the best spot to track a possible framework or tooling 🪲. Open an issue for them here ...
