Assert.StartsWith() Failure: String start does not match
String: null
Expected start: "sha256-"

Error: expected boot manifest hash to start with "sha256-", but got null.
Is null expected here, or is this a regression?

Build Duty Triage (2026-04-21)

This backflow PR (release/10.0.1xx) is failing due to Blazor/TemplateEngine test failures caused by the xUnit v3 migration regression (related: #53791, fix in #53788).

Root cause chain:

  1. The xUnit v3 revert (Revert xUnit v3 migration and OTel telemetry changes #53788) merged to sdk main on Apr 10, but hasn't flowed through the VMR pipeline yet
  2. Forward flow PR [main] Source code updates from dotnet/sdk dotnet#6161 (sdk → VMR) is blocked by NU1202: NuGet.Protocol 7.7.0-rc.65534 not compatible with netstandard2.0 in source-build
  3. Until the VMR forward flow merges and a new VMR build is produced, the backflow to release/10.0.1xx will continue carrying the broken xUnit v3 packages
  4. A fresh CI run on [main] Source code updates from dotnet/sdk dotnet#6161 is currently in progress

This PR is blocked on the forward flow pipeline resolving. Once dotnet/dotnet#6161 merges and the xUnit v3 revert propagates through the VMR, the backflow subscription should deliver updated content.
