Cannot determ window ID of server.servername window

This seems specific to:

terminal=gnome-terminal.wrapper
terminal_colorize=0

On:

$ uname -a
Linux 5.19.0-32-generic #33~22.04.1-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Mon Jan 30 17:03:34 UTC 2 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Which is Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS.

$ cssh -v
Version: 4.16

$ cssh username@servername
Opening to: username@servername
Cannot determ window ID of 'servername ' window

The above two settings are the only non-default I have set.
I had to set those to get a gnome-terminal to pop up at all.
It pops up but doesn't take any input from the cssh menu / text enter box.

I've been googling and searching for two hours and I just can't find much info on using gnome-terminal with cssh. Can anybody lend me a hand on what to try next?
