Flaky ENTER key in TI-89 Titanium default skin

Thanks for bringing this indispensable app to newer Android versions!

As the title says, I'm having trouble with the enter key when using TI-89 Titanium default skin. I always get the haptic feedback when pressing it, but most of the time there is no effect on the calculator. If I press and hold for a second it works. Also, if I aim for the upper left corner of the enter key it seems to work reliability. All the other keys seem to be working fine. I have no problem when using the Classic 89 Titanium skin, just the "default" skin.

Interesting. I really have no idea how this app works, but from my understanding the buttons on the skin image are defined in the buttonlocation.location file in the skin directory (app/src/main/assets/portrait/ti89default). I can only assume that this is set correctly though...
When I hold the button down on my phone I see a hi-light rectangle showing me the button location:

Does this line up? If not I have absolutely no advise, but if there is an issue with it, I would suggest having a look at the location file.

As I continue to mention, on other bug reports I have a fulltime job and two young children which means I have no spare time (at all lol). I have some experience with the Android environment, and plenty of coding experience but I have very little knowledge of this code base... all that being said, if you have time to figure out what the problem is, I'd be happy to merge a patch into this repo. In the mean time if you don't have problems with the Classic skin, you may want to use that instead.

I have the same issue. Enter button highlights exactly where it should but only works intermittently if pressed in the top left corner. I have not found any settings that change this.
