Deleting map data from saved stack/project

Is there a garbage bin icon to delete layers of data that are saved on a project? Like under the 6-pack icon?

There is one if you expand the layer's info and own the project. It had been under the "6-pack", but was thought to be distracting if, as the project owner, were using it to present. Toggling between an edit and presentation mode was not well received.
