Building for mido (Redmi Note 4X msm8996)

I'm trying to build EFIDroid for my phone all day.
But I'm still getting the

ERROR: Operation not permitted
make[1]: *** [out/build.mk:1029: lk_kernel] Error 255

error while trying to make lk. At this point, I have no idea what to do.

You probably shouldn't bother with that config, seeing that with the second commit they actually broke it for no reason. I don't think I have my old configs for mido anymore, but I can confirm that it needs the msm8953 LK target, not the msm8996 one.

They even failed to set the correct DPI, seeing how they changed it to 501 instead of 401.

You are better off making your own config

so can it be used on mido?
I tried to port efidroid to Huawei Maimang5 (also msm8953) but it refuse d to boot.
