Keep the options visible as long as you're hovering over the room.
Why would you like to do it?
E.g. You want to change the notification setting of several rooms, before you do, you click the room to see its latest activity. The option items disappear each time you click a different room.
It would be more convenient to have those options remain, as long as the cursor is on the room.
