What Happened?
Hi! I got the shiny new Starlite V device with elementary preinstalled. But on tablet use I almost never get the OnBoard keyboard to show up! I played with the options available and barely managed to get it to screen few random times. But it is completely useless at this state. Any tips, tricks, drivers ... ? Is this touch keyboard considered mature? Thank you so much.
Steps to Reproduce
- Grab the tablet. No keyboard attached.
- Tap in a text field anywhere you like. elementary's own apps or anything else.
- Screen keyboard does not show up. Not even by manually turning it on in the system tray or the settings.
- Tampering with auto-show, location and other settings may randomly prompt it to appear but in a very random unpredictable, and completely unusable manner.
Expected Behavior
The screen keyboard should show up whenever a text field is selected. Or when manually turned on at the very least!
