Starting in the background option doesn't seem to work

What Happened?

After enabling the start in the background option (I'm assuming that's the name since it's translated to brazilian portuguese), and reopening the app, the option changes back to disabled:

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open the app;
2. Enable start in the background;
3. Close and reopen the app;
4. Start in the background is disabled.

Expected Behavior

When changing the start in the background option, it should remain in the selected state between the app's restart or when the OS reboots. Unless it's changed by an user.

Even though the toggle now remains switched on, the Monitor stats don't show up in the wingpanel upon a restart until you open the Monitor app itself again.

Had the same issue, but it's never specified that it runs automatically on startup, only that it will run in the background when the monitor starts. To run the monitor on startup, you need to add it to the applications startup in system settings. e.g.:

It's probably fine to request this as a improvement but I don't think it fits a bug.
