The vtk backend was removed in version 5.0.0 of enable so these examples dont work anymore deleted: examples/demo/vtk/__init__.py deleted: examples/demo/vtk/cmap_scatter.py deleted: examples/demo/vtk/spectrum.py deleted: examples/demo/vtk/vtk_example.py deleted: examples/demo/vtk_example.py
