Out-of-date "Releases" section on GitHub project page

The "Releases" section on the project home page announces JCA 2.4.8 as the "latest" release.

That's wrong and misleading.

I would suggest either to remove all release entries (so that the project page shows tags instead) or to make creating a release entry part of the release procedure.

That wrong impression is supported by the top README file:

I would suggest removing version numbers from the README to avoid having to update it constantly.

I will remove the release numbers and instead have a link to the github releases/tags before the next release
