Documentation porting

Assess what to do with the per-script Wiki-documentation. Should it stay there or be ported to REST/Markdown?

If it should stay, how should we link to it (in a way that automatically generated docs include the link)?

I think the wiki will go outdated. The question is whether this also should be resolved now. My vote in the long run is to port to rst or markdown. Maybe markdown as that is a bit more accessible and the documentation will not be that complicated?

I think the current documentation should go into the argparser, because that is easy to integrate in sphinx. And then it provides value from the start, both in generated documentation, but it is also available in the terminal. If not, it is just a comment waiting to be outdated....
