API should provide the ability to modify humanly readable name of Pads

It would be nice if I could change the humanly readable name of a Pad, I'm not fussed about modifying the ID of the pad but changing the humany readable name would be nice for folks.

If i'm not mistaken, the name would be like the title? What is shown on the editor, correct? not the URL, but the title, similar to "New Pad" or the like? If this is the case, I have put the logic in place to get and set these and merely need to know how to exchange the data from the pad view to the server to implement it.

No, john means he wants the second part of the padID. Means if the padID is g.34jh23k32h4kj$bla, johns wants the bla part

So, that would involve changing the padID? Would this create any issues when done? For example, how would the system handle the other users when that is changed? (As in users, I mean people editing that pad) As far as I know, handling the edit would be the more difficult part.

We decided this would be a bad idea and that the CMS providing the pad service should provide the name <-> padId relationship.
