Collaborative Drawing

Hi,

I am currently evaluating whether or not to build a collaborative drawing extension for etherpad, comparable to colorillo.com. Would such an extension fit into etherpad, if so in which way? As an optional component tied to a pad like the chat or as an inline text feature (which would be much harder to implement, since than one pad could contain multiple drawings).

I'd make this a seperate project and start from scratch, so you can make
your own decisions about whhich parts fit your needs and how you want
things to behave. If you want to integrate your app into etherpad
eventually you could easily write a plugin.
