IE9 newline

This is probably a known issue, but I can't do a newline on IE9. When at the beginning of a line, pressing Return will increase the line number by one, but the cursor will be stuck. Funny things also happen when I try to wrap in the middle of a line.

newline works fine for me in IE9, we have tests for this and they pass the test.

Does that test pass or fail for you?

I tried both Master/Develop.

For the test, it looks good in Firefox, but the number of passes is always 1. In IE, the left side of the test looks somewhat crippled, passes is also 1, but trying to insert a newline fails (only line numbers increasing). Local cache is clean.

I worked a lot on this and would like to resolve it fully. Can you please document the exact acions you take and yiur full broswer details and if possibly a video.

OK. I'll re-install first to make sure everything is clean. What version of nodejs do you suggest? I think I read about an issue in connection with the latest v0.8.20...

0.8.19 should be sufficient

Just for the record I tested against this guys instance using a Sauce instance IE9 and it worked fine. My assumption is that his IE9 is old or buggy or it's running in quirks mode or something.. Hard to say for sure.

Btw a video of the event would be really useful for heuristic bugs such as this.

okay, for some reason, IE9 was in compat mode - stoooopid

I think we might need to create a plugin or something for people because this keeps happening.
