Import works but with issues

Import of a 1 page word document (.doc) is successful but throws errors.

Using this pad:

I import a 1 page word document with text only. The import is successful and the document text is loaded in the pad. The loading indicator does not automatically disappear and eventually turns into:

"Import failed: Request timed out."

There are no javascript errors. The interface displays "Import failed: Request timed out" in red font next to the "Import" button.

That happens afaik if the upload takes longer than 25 seconds. I don't know a good solution so far

Also, going back to my original issue. The word document was successfully imported. the pad contents was updated with the body of the word document. But the error still showed. I don't think it was b/c of large file size. The word document was only a few lines long.

I tested this but I'm unable to replicate any errors. I also created a word document that is a few lines long and tried to import it and it imported fine. Have you tried multiple browsers?

I revisited this and could not reproduce the error. Import works as expected
