Settings reset to default

Sometimes the settings for Apdatifier just reset to default for me and I don't know how to fix it.
This is really annoying because I use the post exec command and like it to also update my aur packages and flatpaks.

It seems like the settings might be getting reset because certain characters in your command (such as quotes) can break the configuration file. The field does not perform any validation, so the command needs to be properly formatted for the config file.

Could you share the exact command you are trying to use?
A safer approach would be to put your command into a bash script file and then specify the path to that script, instead of entering the command directly in the field.

the command is: sudo grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg
It is just to make absolutely sure that grub-btrfs doesn't break.

Also that doesn't explain why flatpak and aur packages keep being disabled.

Are only the Flatpak and AUR options being reset, or do other settings also reset?

This is what my general settings look like now, I only turned flatpaks and aur packages back on after I noticed it reset (and pasted the command back in of course). If the 60 minutes aren't standard, it doesn't change.

PS: Also noticed again that news stuff is greyed out, I don't know why that is.

Check how it works with the latest commit.

So the problem seems to be fixed for me, but if I open journalctl while opening the settings menu it starts screaming at me. I am not smart enough to know what exactly is, but stuff seems to be configured wrong. Here are the relevant logs:

All widgets show such warnings when opening the settings. This is normal behavior and not an errors.
