News notification spam on startup

For a couple of months now, whenever I start KDE Plasma, Apdatifier will spam a bunch of (previously-seen) notifications for news from enabled sources. I am pretty sure its broken.

This only occurs for me on startup, doing a scan post-startup doesn't cause this to happen.

Update to the latest commit:
Settings -> General -> Misc -> Install Development version

Let me know whether this fixes the issue.

I can confirm that I am also experiencing this error.
I have installed the Development version, but the problem persists.

Edit:The problem has only been around for a few days, I think after I activated the checkbox archlinux news

@danone1337255, Your error is not related to the current issue. In your case, the archlinux.org website, from which the news are fetched, is not accessible.

Okay, my mistake. But still, the app is unusable after a feed error.
Maybe that should be changed.

But it isn't though? I had that before and all I needed to do was press a button below the error to return to the normal UI.

Very off topic though, perhaps move this to its own (more relevant) issue.

I've only been using it for a few months, I reinstalled it and now there's a button, thank you.
At first, I thought I had the same problem as you, but follow the instructions from exequtic I'm out

Forgot to mention, yeah the development version fixed this issue. Thanks!
