Hi @wbarnha, can you re-run the check workflow? With my fixes it should pass now. Also aligned pre-commit hook ruff version, to avoid failing checks because of linter version mismatch in the future. |

Hi! This one fixes #60 be removing dependency on pkg_ressources and fixing the tests.
It could possibly replace 92d40c1 and get #64 ready.
