What: We need to have 1 connection per cluster max to the NDXIMAT data share
Why: Legacy Windows License restrictions
Who (will benefit) : Both us and the users
How (are we doing this now): We are not doing this now.
Technical caveats:
SMB is a pain in Linux Envs, i.e. the entire reason the file-watchers are complicated.
Probably want to use either a https://github.com/dperson/samba server (for more SMB fun) OR use a rook.io CSI for NFS (probably the second one)
