chore: prepare for v8.2.0 release

Updates CHANGELOG, and adds a commit hash indication to the example app.

This also replaces the funding link with the new GitHub Sponsors account. The docs site will follow after.

Hi @JaffaKetchup, I wanted to check in on the status of the v8.2.0 release. I’m wondering if there are any pending changes we’re waiting on, or if some decisions still need to be finalized.

My app is currently dependent on this release, and unfortunately, we’re unable to move forward until it’s available. Please let me know if there’s anything I can do to help unblock things.

We're currently waiting for some other maintainers (@fleaflet/maintainers) hopefully to do some reviews. We need to merge:

• feat: add built-in caching & tile loading cancellation support #2082
• fix: calculate LayerHitResult.coordinate correctly #2093
• feat: change polygon label placement config, add new 'signed area centroid' algorithm & use new polylabel implementation #2102 (and need to verify that it's non-breaking, I think it is, but reviews need to check that since it's a big change - technically I can review and merge this, but I've made a very large contribution, so that wouldn't be ideal)
• docs: minor docs fix on TileDisplay.fadeIn arguments #2114

This PR is mostly ready I think - just need to verify that the CHANGELOG is up to date, then everything's ready.

If you wanted to help, then I guess some reviews would be useful just to add another level of certainty and maybe aid the other maintainers. Which feature/commit are you waiting for exactly?

Great to hear that the PR is mostly ready — is there an estimated release date for this version? I’ll also take a look to see if there’s anything I can help review in the meantime.

Unfortunately no estimated date for now. I would also like to get it done ASAP, but I'm not sure when anyone else will be available next.

@josxha I might revert the changes to the tile layer that I made here. Wdyt? I think they might be a problem - they cause a log really frequently.

Fine for me, up to you. Wouldn't mean that we can't add still something similar later on.

I've just pushed the 1 current one into initState. Now they don't annoy users.
