View mode: Split filename from path

The list of changed files can get pretty hard to read because the paths runs into the filenames:

Tree view can help, but you sacrifice a huge amount of information density to the tree of folders:

Sourcetree has an excellent solution to this problem: a two column view with path separated from filename:

I'd love to see the same thing in Fork! (This is just about the only thing I miss since I switched.) In addition to improving legibility, this view gives you the ability to sort by filename or by path, which can give you much of the benefit of tree view without the loss of information density.

Actually, Windows version of Fork has same two column view. I'd love to see it in Mac version.

I just came over to beg for this change again and saw the 2.9 release notes. Thank you for adding this! Along with filtering this is a HUGE step forward for the file listing view.

I have two minor improvement requests:

• When the strings get long, can you trim from the center instead of the start of the string? The key information in filenames/paths tends to come at the beginning or the end in my experience.
• Please allow sorting by name or location

+1 for sorting by name and location feature. Also it is helpful to group by change type: edited, created, deleted
