AI Agent integration - broken?

I have used Open AI integration for commit messages for a long time (and it still works on Windows), but now it somehow broken on Mac version. Commit button shows only previous commit messages and there is no "generate commit message" option. I can edit AI Agent prompt in settings, but did not see my key which I entered before.

Now Fork only supports local models: Claude and Codex.

my /usr/bin/env node command return /usr/local/bin/node
codex is installed in global prefix: ~/.local/bin/codex and ~/.local/bin is in PATH

I don't know what's the problem.

1. I can only assume that that you have 2 nodes (brew and npm) and there is a conflict. Try to remove the brew one.
2. In order to make Fork inherit ENV of your terminal, start it using open -a Fork command.

I dont have brew at all, only node from official pkg

Well, this is codex cli issue when it is installed in user prefix instead of /usr/local, I will try to reach them

1. Can you please share how do you probe for codex presence and start it? Just because it is very strange that you can find ~/.local/bin/codex (somehow in Fork PATH), but /usr/local/bin/node is not in Fork PATH (expected for ENV is not inherited).
   With open -a Fork both codex and node are found, but is very strange to run GUI tool from Terminal which was made to not run Terminal :-)

Fork checks the following locations, then runs the file directly:

"/opt/homebrew/bin/codex", // Homebrew (Apple Silicon)
"/usr/local/bin/codex",    // Homebrew (Intel)
"~/.local/bin/codex",      // npm global install

Yes, but you want the GUI tool to know ENV of your Terminal. In unix ENV is inherited from the parent process. All your cli tools get ENV from the parent (zsh), but Fork is started by launchd.

No! I just want to generate commit message with AI. And it breaks when GUI tool started to call scripts which relies on ENV.

So, can you please add /usr/local/bin to Fork PATH? This is a default Node installation path and I'm not sure how it work for you without its presence in PATH.
When you directly run script it will execute "/usr/bin/env node" to find Node and will always fail with default launchd PATH unless you have installed it in /usr/bin (?)
