IR doesn't work with multiline commit messages separated by single \n

During interactive rebase somebody added message, separated by CRLF, which is displayed wrong in interactive rebase window and commit message editor:

Looks like you expect that there will be blank line in message.

It displayd fine in commits tree:

I run into same problem, the resulting issue is more important that just a display problem!

First: It doesn't seem to happen with multiline commit message created by Git Fork (but other Git app), so it's maybe a parsing issue, or CR/LF compat issue?

Importantly, this seems to completely break the interactive rebase.

e.g. here I am trying to DROP the commit:

Clicking "Rebase" this is what I get:

There's nothing in the Resolve UI and if I click on Continue Rebase I get same error, only way to exit the loop is to Abort the rebase.

If I use git rebase -i on command-line, that commit gets displayed as a single line and can be manipulated/dropped correctly.

In the rebase reword UI, if you look closely, the single-line text field shows two lines:

If I manually move the text cursor down and delete that carriage return blindly, it also fixes the issue.

EDIT To clarify, this is probably just a "parsing" problem in the UI frontend.

The rebase issue is fixed, I noticed Fork often(always?) seems to add an empty line:

If try to reword and remove that empty line it gets added again.

Also when trying to Amend a commit created outside of Fork with multi-lines, the multiple lines are shown in the single-line description box of the commit.
