Create branch and checkout isn't the same as create branch then checkout

I have uncommitted changes.
If I create a branch and tick the "Check out after create" box it fails because "Your local changes to the following files would be overwritten by checkout".
If I create a branch without ticking the "Check out after create" box and then check it out separately I get three options to "Stash and reapply", "Don't change" or "Discard changes".

It would be great if the first option followed the same logic as the second option so I can checkout at the same time as creating a branch.

I'm not sure. I understand the use case, but I think this will overcomplicate the create branch dialog.

There just needs to be the 'What do you want to do with uncommitted changes?' dialog - if that is relevant - after the create branch dialog. Rather than just always failing.

I would like to create a branch and check it out at the when I have uncommitted changes.
The use case is that I make a change but I don't want to commit it on the current branch so I want to create a new branch, check it out and commit the changes on that. I seem to do this all the time when I find a long-term bug and fix it but want to put it on it's own bug fix branch instead of the feature branch I am currently working on.
