Good news! Draft PR #1621 adds a new StrictBooleans static parameter to CsvProvider that directly addresses this request.

With StrictBooleans=true, columns containing only 0 and 1 are inferred as integers rather than booleans. Similarly, yes/no values become strings rather than booleans. Only explicit true/false values (or True/False) are inferred as boolean type.
