Problem:
Users with dual SIM devices currently have the default SIM card set to Card 1. Users who primarily use Card 2 need to manually change the SIM selection every time they send a message.
Requested Solution:
Add a setting/option to allow users to configure which SIM card should be used as the default (Card 1 or Card 2) for dual SIM devices.
User Impact:
This would improve user experience by eliminating the need to manually change SIM card selection for each message when the user's preferred SIM is not Card 1.
User Feedback:
One quick query: if I have dual sms . The default value is card 1. May you add a mode to change this? Because I need to change it everytime.
Suggested Implementation
- Add a preference/setting in the app configuration
- Allow users to select their preferred default SIM card
- Persist this setting across app sessions
- Apply the default automatically when composing new messages
