Over a decade ago I made a fork of TinySHell that used SCTP instead of TCP.
I think it would be neat to support multiple protocols besides TCP, eg: UDP, SCTP, DCCP (or whatever), along with Unix Domain Sockets (more on this at a later point).
This might enable slightly more fun with firewalls and the likes :)
