Summary
This PR abstracts the protocol code from the rest of the binding, exposing a single API for it called
ProtocolProvider. This PR implements the old protocol code asV1ProtocolProvider, and the new v2 protocol asV2ProtocolProvider. The binding is set up to use the new v2 protocol by default, if the server asks to negotiate, the binding will fall back to v1.
