The github-app object type was defined inline 5 times across the schema with identical property structures (app-id, private-key, owner, repositories), causing maintenance risk and drift between definitions.

Changes

Added github_app to $defs — canonical definition with shared properties, required, and additionalProperties: false
Replaced 5 inline definitions with $ref: "#/$defs/github_app" — in the on.activation, tools.github, safe-outputs, apm, and checkout sections; each retains its context-specific description and examples as sibling properties, following the existing github_token pattern
