AskUser open questions do not support ctrl+r to search chat history

Add to AskUser ability for ctrl-r to search chat history for open questions.

Why is this needed?

Very often I write the same or similar messages over and over. In a chat I search and modify. In AskUser I cannot.

@WitJakuczun curious to hear a bit more about the use-case here?

Trying to understand the user journey a bit better on this one.

Are you saying you would want to be able to search through prompt history while in the ask_user tool dialog?

Or are you wanting to search through history of previously answered questions?

If it is the first, why would the answer to an ask_user type question be in the prompt history? I may be missing something.

The story is the following. I get plans that are too general. I don't know why but I prefer more detailed ones. So I always tell gemini "Make this plan more detailed. Each task must be as simple as possible and cover only one problem. This must be ready for mechanical implementation"...
Before I just hit CTRL-R and got the message. Now I have to write it again and again.

Similar case - also sometimes I need to refer to files in the project answering inside AskUser and again - UX here is not the same as in the chat.

So answering to your questions:

• I can see both cases useful: search trough chat and search through answers.

But if AskUser will be a default then searching through answers would work! I am going from "before AskUser" workflow and you might be right directing this to searching through answers.
