Thanks for the PR and contributing these new Observability sub-pages for metrics and tracing! I left a few comments, mainly around bugs in the GCP code examples that would cause runtime errors, and a couple of content fixes.

I now realize that metrics are not yet available in a released version of ADK, which I initially missed in this PR. We will unpublish the metrics page in #1712, and republish when it is available. |

This change adds the documentation for both metrics and traces to provide information regarding OpenTelemetry concepts and configuration details for export telemetry to any destination.
