Stack trace when fetching latest version number fails

Describe the bug
Repeated errors messages are produced in the console when Testrun fails to obtain the latest version number from the GitHub API.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Ensure no other internet connections are available other than internet iface.
2. Start Testrun

Expected behavior
The error should be caught correctly.
