connection.single_ip test fails when network validator is used

Describe the bug
The connection.single_ip test fails when the network validation is used (faux-dev).

To Reproduce

1. Start test run using sudo cmd/start
2. Check results.json

Expected behavior
connection.single_ip test should produce a compliant result

Error logs
connection test module log pickups another DHCP request from the faux-dev container and includes this as part of the test
