Alternative approach to topics #270

Description

@Ainali

The feature

Base topics on field of work (P101) instead of COFOG classification (P9798). I suggest that we create 10 queries that roughly correspond to the top level COFOG classes since that at least seems to be an established way of dividing public organizations.

  • General Public Services
  • Defense
  • Public order and safety
  • Economic affairs
  • Environmental protection - https://w.wiki/6QBY
  • Housing and community amenities
  • Health
  • Recreation, culture, and religion - https://w.wiki/6VWs
  • Education
  • Social protection

Why?

The topics we have are solid in the sense that they are based on official data on the COFOG classification. The downside is that we have only found a data source for Sweden which means that we are kind of stuck for now.

Examples and inspiration

Here is an example query (which, of course, can be polished) getting organizations broadly working with the environment. It proves that we can get the right organizations and that it is highly flexible. When building this, we can combine that with our already made queries for the organizations, like we do on the statistics page: {{- $orgs := query (join "" "generators/" $country ".rq") -}}.
