Not sure if this is an issue or not I am really new to using it so bare with me

I am trying to write a library for a spelling content type I want for my students. As far as I know I have everything in place ie files. structure etc. so I h5p pack the file and then upload it to my libraries in Moodle and it returns this
The required property machineName is missing from h5pspelling-1.0
The required property majorVersion is missing from h5pspelling-1.0
The required property minorVersion is missing from h5pspelling-1.0
So I open the file and h5pcli has renamed the root director with the -1.0 number on while the h5p.json are looking for the file name h5pspelling only no numbers. Well I tried renaming it back to what it should be and cannot.
Is this the cause of my error or something else? is there a command to tell h5pcli to just pack it as it is and not add numbers?
Any suggestions please?

Are you sure you have defined these in your library.json file?

Here is my library.json file. I have noticed that when I get h5pcli to pack it the files are packed with the root directory different than what the original folder name is. When I pack it it will do rename it h5pspelling1.0.h5p and the root folder as well. While my machineName is h5pspelling.

Machine names for content types should follow the schema H5P.Foo. I am not aware that deviation from that convention would cause trouble, but some 3rd party H5P software (potentially moodle's own H5P integration if that's the one that you are using) might assume that schema is followed strictly.

It's perfectly normal for the H5P cli tool to build the directory name from the machine name and the major/minor version number. That's necessary, because this will be the folder that's put onto the platform, and you can have multiple minor versions of a library installed at the same time.

Don't know what H5PEditor.Text and H5PEditor.Audio are, potentially your own widgets. Given that there already are libraries using the machine name H5P.Text and H5P.Audio which do not have an editor widget and given that H5PEditor.Text and H5PEditor.Audio suggest they belong to the former, I'd recommend to rename your widgets or to inform their respective author to do so.

If I recall correctly, adding preloadedDependencies": [] can cause trouble on some platforms. Just remove that property if you don't have dependencies that should be loaded.

language is an invalid property for library.json.

It's up to you to use the embedType of div, but that is hardly ever done as the platform's CSS tends to cause trouble for a content type's styling.

Thank you Otacke for your help. I am a big fan of your work and check your website regularly for new content types. I was using gemini ai to build this and I managed build a Bamboozal like game in Java that worked great. So I thought mmmm I would like to do a simple spelling app in H5P first. Start small. Idea was the teacher puts in 10-15 words and students spell the words (in big blocks) with a voice reading it for them. Their Best times / scores go in as marks. You could add pictures as well because most of my kids are ESL. Well I guess there are no short cuts when it comes to ai and coding h5p. I will check the forum and do some more reading then.
