Integrate database of nicknames to Voter Registration List matching process #1133
Description
By far, the most work OAE does processing donations is trying to validate donors as matchable who weren't found in the voter registration database. The matching process is very good at not giving us false matches, but it is perhaps too good at not finding matches. One area where we noticed it could be improved is in recognizing common nicknames. I am told there is a database of common nicknames that can be integrated to things like this. Can we see if that is possible here?
