make test fails

Not sure if tests should be green on master, but as of 5e129c3 there are intermittent failures (every other run fails). Log here

TestLeader_FailedMember is a bit of a fickle tests since it is very timing dependent. It passes usually when you re-run. We will try to iron out these issues now that we are testing on travis.
