We don't keep it maintained, it's very out of date, and we don't really
like comparing ourselves to other software anyways; it's not fair to
describe other software or solutions in ways that may not align with
how they want to be described.

Totally agree with your assessment here on removing it, but there are very likely several links to these pages both from other hashicorp websites and external websites. I think maybe we should add redirects so that all of those links don't immediately resolve to a 404. Perhaps we could add a page that says something along the lines of what you have said here in the PR description and redirect to that page instead?
