Hi,

You are trying to install hhvm on Ubuntu 24.04. Meta built these binary packages for hhvm 20.04.

We had intended for this release to have Ubuntu 22.04 support, but we are releasing without that support for now. https://hhvm.com/blog/2022/09/09/hhvm-4.168.html

I would recommend one of the following:

• Run hhvm in a Docker container, Meta's 2023 images are still available (based on 20.04).
• Run an unofficial Docker container, 2025 images are available (based on 24.04).
• Extract the .deb file from an unofficial container and install it on Ubuntu 24.04.
