With bomutils listed as deprecated, is there a replacement advised?

Trying not to be "that guy" who misses the obvious, but is there a project that is recommended as the replacement for bomutils?

For now I'm just starting to get use bomutils for my linux-server based macOS pkg generator.

I don't think there is. In fact, I still use it myself. However, I currently have no time to actively maintain this and hence I marking this is deprecated. Once I have the time, I will rewrite this tool.

I'd suggest changing the phrasing to "unmaintained" or "barely maintained", as "deprecated" to me means there is a better replacement available.
