The only browser that supports WebVR in a headset on Mac OS is the Firefox Nightly, but it's recently had a regression, so even that doesn't work at the moment. Here's the bug if you want to follow along:

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1454204

You can download an earlier version of the Nightly, for instance:

… and WebVR works there. Just make sure to turn off automatic updates, or it'll replace itself with the latest version next time you restart.

Most WebVR content works on Mac. Here are a couple to get you started:

Possible workaround

Firefox #webvr support on macOS has regressed. A workaround until it's fixed:

- Stop all Firefox processes
- Use terminal to start Firefox with the MallocNanoZone environment variable set to "1":

For Firefox Release, run this:
  export MallocNanoZone=1 && /Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox

For Firefox Nightly, run this:
  export MallocNanoZone=1 && /Applications/Firefox\ Nightly.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox

- Be sure to flip "dom.vr.enabled" to "true" in about:config if using release firefox.

Do not use if you use multiple macOS "network locations" due to remote risk of crashing
