signin / signup is confusing

When I signup or signin it just takes me back to the signin page. How do I use it?

Since I made the log in animation, the actual animation stopped working on heroku but it works fine on local. I'll try to fix it this weekend. Also, I don't have graceful errors added yet. Error is happening because username needs to be 3 letters only.
