CtlEdidManagement: READ EDID 1 returned failure code: 0x40000017

Hi,
Using Edid_Management_Samples.exe has issues 0x40000017, why?
Results:
CtlEdidManagement: READ EDID 1 returned failure code: 0x40000017

Note that I tried using ctlAUXAccess and changing datasize from 16 to 8 to work.
Example:
      ctl_aux_access_args_t auxArgs = { 0 };
      auxArgs.DataSize = 16 <- results 0x40000017
      auxArgs.DataSize = 8 <- results success
Is it possible using CtlEdidManagement can change datasize value based on my investigation above using ctlAUXAccess?

Same problem.
I just use "-read" to COMMAND for reading my EDID, then it return "ctlEdidManagement: READ EDID 1 returned failure code: 0x40000017".

EDID management API is under restricted usage for customers with NDA. Can you clarify why this API is needed for your use-case?
