The commit https://github.com/intel/linux-intel-lts/commit/ec9d20c12e70d131b58986f2733a29de50bc7ae5 introduced a bug that results in chips not responding any longer. This was analyzed one year ago in this issue https://github.com/intel/linux-intel-lts/issues/38 but the bug was reintroduced in May by the commit mentioned above.
