5.x vs 6.x branches

I'm highly confuse as to which is the 5.x branch and which is the next 6.0 branch.

It seem like all PRs marked 5.6 have been merged into maser. All Prs marked 6.0 have been merged on master, and all PRs marked 5.5 are merged on 5.5.x

Which is which ? If I want to get #630 on stable which branch should I target / (Or what's the schedule for 6.0 i'm ok if it's soon enough.)

master is targeting 6.0, and 5.5.x is targeting 5.5 releases. I do not intend to make a 5.6 release, since 6.0 is imminent, but other maintainers are welcome to do so.

Thanks, I'll retag #595 and #596 for the 6.0 milestone and delete the 5.6 milestone then !
